Cookie policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on infosecai.net, why we use them, and how you can control them.

LAST UPDATED · 18 MAY 2026

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. References to "cookies" in this policy include these technologies where the same considerations apply.

2. Our approach

InfoSecAI does not use marketing cookies, advertising cookies, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics that profile individual visitors. We do not deploy cookie consent banners because we do not deploy non-essential cookies.

3. Cookies in use on this site

Cookie / technologyPurposeCategoryDuration

Browser local storage (filter state on the Insights page)Remembers your last selected filter on /insights so the experience is consistent on return.FunctionalPersistent until cleared

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Functional cookies that we set are minimal and limited to local storage on your own device; no personal data is transmitted to our servers as a result of these.

4. Third-party content

This website loads the following third-party resources, which may set their own cookies governed by their own policies:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) for typography. Google states that no cookies are set when serving fonts.

Site styling and scripts are served from our own static, self-hosted assets. We do not embed third-party trackers, advertising scripts, social media "like" buttons, or video players that profile users.

5. Controlling cookies

You can control cookies in your browser settings. Major browsers offer:

  • blocking all cookies;
  • blocking third-party cookies only;
  • clearing cookies and local storage on exit;
  • private or incognito browsing modes.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair your ability to use this website. Blocking local storage will not stop you using the site but will reset your filter preferences on the Insights page.

6. Changes to this policy

If we change our use of cookies materially we will update this page. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
